LATVALA PROPHÈTE EN SON PAYS

Le suspense fut total jusqu’au terme de ce rallye de Finlande 2010. En tête depuis le premier jour sur sa Ford Focus, Jari-Matti Latvala a lutté jusqu’au bout avec Sébastien Ogier, désormais au volant d’une Citroën C4 officielle. Sébastien Loeb complète le podium en marquant de précieux points dans l’optique du championnat, d’autant que Mikko Hirvonen (Ford) a abandonné lors de la première étape sur un crash impressionnant qui restera comme le plus spectaculaire de la saison. Longtemps en bagarre pour une place sur le podium, Petter Solberg sur sa C4 WRC privée termine 4e derrière Sébastien Loeb alors que Dani Sordo désormais intégré au Citroën Junior Team prend la 5e place loin devant la Focus RS de Wilson.
